I want to support her. Even though she is
half Japanese and half American, she has a Japanese nationality. So, of course,
she can represent Japan. When I watched youtube, a man said that appearance was
not all. The inside was also important. I think so. Actually, she has
personality like usual Japanese. She is good at syodo, likes miso soup. To be
honest, I’m not good at syodo. So she is real Japanese. Moreover, while we
watched youtube, I thought that in addition to me, a lot of Japanese wanted to support
her. That proves that they don’t worry nationality and her appearance and her
skin color and they want her do it her best. But when Miyamoto was a younger, she
was teased by her classmate. Garbage was thrown to her. She might be sensitive.
To young her, she once hate her personality. However, finally, she didn’t get
to dislike her personality. She seemed to have confidence. So she could bear
tease and discrimination and participate in the contest.
I and
Japanese should learn Miyamoto. That is challenge spirit. Japanese is passive and
negative. Furthermore, Japanese don’t often do things earlier than anyone. So they
are not good at speaking English and talking in English. I think it is stupid. Miyamoto
didn’t mind neighborhood’s opinion, valued her thought, took part in contest. Eventually,
she won the victory. The reason why she did them is because she understands
herself and is proud of herself. I think that I want to have confidence. Today, but Japanese people in the world should learn her. Miyamoto doesn’t her personality as black American. She has global perspective without prejudice. That is so important. Nowdays, some countries and religious organizations act to force us recognize their belief. That is disorder and prejudice. There is no mutual understanding. Today is a global age. We can’t avoid relationship with our boss, family, and foreigner. Prejudice makes us make good relationship with them. So we must learn Miyamoto’s thought. We must not have negative image of nationality and skin color, religion.
I have
many things which she teaches me. Confidence, no prejudice and so on. I want to
promote challenge spirit throughout college life. During college life, we can
do many things such as volunteer activity, sports and of course study. We want
to be person who can work in the world.
